Dual Specialist, Curl Specialist
Karianne has been working on the craft of hairdressing for over 15 years.Karianne has specialized skills with razor cuts, short cuts, and curly hair. She is thorough and meticulous with every cut and colour she provides. As Poppy Hair Salon’s Bumble and bumble Network Educator she brings all things Bumble to Poppy to keep us up to date on all the New York hair trends.Born and raised in BC, loves talking about travel, sports, and music.
Catarina
Dual Specialist, Curl Specialist
Catarina is Aveda-trained in cutting, colouring and styling and has been in the industry for over 17 years. She ensures that each of her clients receive a cut and colour that is versatile, original and beautiful.
She is skilled in all types of hair and over the past years she has started to focus on cutting and colouring curly and textured hair. She is DevaCurl certified and is one of our Curl Specialists.
Carly
Dual Specialist
Carly enjoys creating cool blondes and highlights and is the go to girl for balayage and highlights, updo’s for weddings or more casual nights out. She also enjoys cutting long hair, and men’s cuts.
If you have a seat in her chair she’s liable to strike up conversation on globetrotting. She loves to travel and has been throughout Australia, Europe, Thailand, Japan, Cuba and Mexico!
Josh
Dual Specialist, Curl Specialist
A graduate of John Casablanca, and a Semi Finalist in the prestigious Wella Trendvision, Josh has a keen eye for what will suit your face shape and skin tone. With a specialization in curly hair, he is fastidious in his cutting, and aims for clean lines and precision. From classic bobs to current trends, Josh will ensure you receive exactly what you’re looking for.
He looks forward to meeting new clients as well as continuing to uphold fantastic services for his existing clientele.

Ashley is our go to bright colour expert. She loves to colour hair- long balayage, rainbow, mermaid, anything you can imagine, she can create on your hair. Ashley has been doing hair since 2012, attending the Aveda Institute and Academy Vancouver. In her off time, she loves to bake and play video games.
Randall
Dual Specialist (Master Stylist)
A master stylist with 30 years of experience, Randall has extensive training through Aveda, Bumble and Bumble, Schwarzkopf and Goldwell, as well as previous work as an educator for Eveline Charles Salons. Specialising in short cuts, from bobs to pixies, and colour, Randall will curate a perfect look for you. In his off time, hanging out at the beach and enjoying a good book are at the top of his list

Dual Specialist
Carrie is Aveda trained, and has been creating beautiful hair for over 10 years. Carrie specialises in long hair, bombshell blondes and beautiful brunettes. She loves to get to know her clients, and will make you feel like an old friend when you sit in her chair. Carrie is a mama to her mini me and is a talented synchronised figure skater! We love Carrie and hope you do too!
Brooklyn
Dual Specialist
Brooklyn has a passion for mullets and shags, using texture and shape to create the perfect cut. She also has an excellent eye for creating lived-in blondes, through classic highlighting and balayaging.
Originally from the Sunshine Coast, Brooklyn attended the Aveda Institute Victoria, and has made her home in the city. Her kindness shines through with each of her guests and she will make you feel and look fantastic.
